A Celebration of Creativity and Community
What a joy it is to fuel such incredible creativity in our community!
A heartfelt thank you to Orange Community Arts Guild and the Friendly Center for inspiring the next generation of artists. From clay to cameras to zines, these young visionaries reminded us that art builds more than skills, it builds community.
The impact of the arts reaches far beyond the classroom. According to Americans for the Arts, students engaged in arts learning achieve higher GPAs, stronger test scores, higher college going rates, and lower dropout rates. These benefits are seen across all backgrounds. The arts also strengthen mental health, with just 45 minutes of art making shown to lower stress hormones by 25 percent. Communities that embrace the arts experience greater civic involvement, stronger local economies, and deeper social connections.
